biography

Dietmar Schönherr's father is summoned as a colonel after the "Anschluss" to Potsdam, where Dietmar makes the Matura. Film director Alfred Weidenmann discovered him as a "young eagle". In 1944 he comes to the Mountain Warrier to the Tyrol, deserted just before the war ended. In 1947 he became spokesman, actor, director, reporter and writer for radio, he is popular as a presenter, television actor and voice actor (Commander Cliff in "Space Patrol"). From 1969 to 1973 he hosted with his wife, Vivi Bach, the TV show "Make a wish." Schoenherr is a co-founder der Tiroler popular plays ("Volksschauspiele Telfs"), writes novels, is a member of the German peace movement and is active in Nicaragua.
